Bend — ASME B16.49
Bend — a pipe bend with a larger radius than a standard elbow. Bends of 3D, 5D and larger radius give smoother flow than elbows and suit slurry, pigging and pipeline service. They are induction- or cold-bent from pipe.

Bend — questions buyers ask
Bend or elbow — what is the difference?
An elbow has a fixed 1D or 1.5D radius to ASME B16.9; a bend is bent from pipe to a larger radius, typically 3D or 5D.
